1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using www.shantubaug.com managed under Shantu Farm Fresh, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any documents expressly incorporated herein. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Website Usage & Intellectual Property

• Content on the website—including text, images, graphics, and logos—is owned or licensed by Shantubaug Agrotourism. All rights reserved.

• You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without our written permission.

3. Bookings, Payments & Reservations

• Reservations may require advance payment or deposit, with details provided during booking.

• Rates are subject to change and availability.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when making reservations.

4. Check-In / Check-Out Policy

• Check-in: From 12:00 PM

• Check-out: By 10:00 AM

• Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur extra charges.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Adapted from Maharashtra-based agro-stays:

• Cancellation 7 days or more before arrival: No charge / Full refund.

• Cancellation within 3 days of arrival: 50% charge.

• No-show or cancellation on arrival day: 100% charge.

• Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 15 working days to the oringal source of payment method.

• Shantubaug reserves the right to cancel bookings due to errors in rate/data or force majeure, with full refund but no further liability.

6. Guest Obligations & Conduct

• Guests are expected to respect the environment and conduct themselves appropriately.

• No littering, plucking plants, or disturbing wildlife—these acts are strictly prohibited.

• No alcohol, loud music, or illegal substances allowed. Violations may result in ejection without refund.

• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult.

7. Safety, Activities & Liability

• Activities like hiking, river walks, or other events involve inherent risks. Guests partake at their own risk. Shantubaug is not liable except in cases of gross negligence. 

• Wandering after dark, especially alone: discouraged. In emergencies, contact staff immediately. Guest assumes any associated risk.

8. Property & Personal Belongings

• Shantubaug is not liable for loss or damage of guest belongings during the stay. 

• Guests are liable for damages to property, farm structures, or the environment and may be charged for repairs.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

• Personal data (e.g., name, contact info, ID) may be collected during booking or check-in.

• We commit to keeping your personal data confidential and secure, but disclaim liability for breaches outside our control.

10. Force Majeure

• Shantubaug is not responsible for inability to fulfill obligations due to events beyond control—natural disasters, strikes, legal restrictions, etc.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these terms at any time. Changes apply from the “Last Updated” date onward and continued use of the site implies acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts in Satara, Maharashtra, unless otherwise specified.
